Where the Adriatic Sea meets the Ionian Sea, Karaburun is the only national marine park in the country. While the peninsula itself is a managed nature reserve, all eyes are on the preservation of the incredible marine flora and fauna, giant caves, and meadows of seagrass that can be found unda da sea. We will do a stop to the biggest and at the same time the most famous is Haxhi Alia cave, one of the biggest in Albania. The cave is 60 meters high and 40 meters deep. A small lake, where we will swim is found inside the case while traces of fire can be noticed on the walls. We will go straight to an unspoiled bay to enjoy snorkeling and the incredible marine flora and fauna. During the exploration of different bays and caves a delicious local lunch it is included.
Be aware that you may join a group during this exploration and the itinerary may have few changes according to the captain decisions.
Explore the beautiful Karaburun peninsula by speedboat, including the Karaburun-Sazan National Marine Park, the only reserve of its kind in the country, home to turtles, seals and dolphins. Visit the mysterious cave at Haxhi Aliu, used by traders and smugglers for millennia and now a national monument. Snorkel in a remote bay, sunbathe on an untouched beach and then eat a picnic/local lunch.
